Terms and Conditions

These Terms govern your use of flyoneers.com and your participation in the Flyoneers Awards. By using the website or submitting an entry, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or enter the awards.

Using the website

You must be at least 18 years old to submit forms on the website. You agree to use the website lawfully and not to:

  • Submit false, misleading or impersonated information.
  • Upload files that contain malware or that you have no right to share.
  • Send spam or automated submissions through our forms.
  • Scrape, copy or extract website content in bulk without our written permission.
  • Interfere with the security or operation of the website, or try to gain unauthorised access to it.
  • Use the website or Flyoneers marks in a way that suggests an award, nomination or endorsement you have not received.

We may suspend access or remove content that breaches these Terms.

Entering the Flyoneers Awards

Who can enter. Companies, independent businesses, B2B and white-label providers, travel technology companies, booking platforms, digital publishers, independent travel bloggers and content creators that offer airport or travel-related services or information may enter. Entries are made by companies, publishers and creators, not by airports or individual airport facilities.

Authority. The person submitting an entry confirms that they are authorised to act for the company or website named in it, and that the entrant accepts these Terms.

Categories. A company may enter every category that fits its business. Each entry is assessed separately against the published criteria of its category. We may move an entry to a more suitable category after telling the entrant.

Deadlines. Entries must arrive within the entry period published on the website. Late or incomplete entries may be rejected. All dates are shown in Istanbul time (UTC+3) unless stated otherwise.

Accuracy. All information and evidence in an entry must be true, accurate and verifiable. We may ask for proof of any claim. Entrants must tell us promptly if material information changes before results are announced.

Evidence and third-party data. Entrants are responsible for having the rights and lawful basis to share every file they upload, including any personal data of customers or staff. Personal data that is not needed to support the entry should be removed.

Withdrawal. An entrant may withdraw an entry by emailing [email protected] before the shortlist is published.

Eligibility checks and disqualification

The Flyoneers team checks each entry for eligibility before judging. We may reject or disqualify an entry, or withdraw an award already announced, if:

  • It contains false, exaggerated or unverifiable claims, or evidence that is not the entrant's own.
  • The entrant does not meet the eligibility rules of the category.
  • The entrant tries to influence jury members or the Flyoneers team improperly.
  • The entrant breaches these Terms or misuses Flyoneers marks.
  • The entrant's conduct could seriously harm the reputation of the programme.

Where an award is withdrawn, we may remove it from the website and its verification page, and the entrant must stop using the related badge.

Judging

Entries are evaluated by an independent jury of industry experts against the criteria published for each category. Jury members must declare any conflict of interest and must not evaluate entries where one exists.

The programme moves through eligibility check, jury evaluation, shortlist, finalists and winners. One winner is named per category. If a category receives too few eligible entries of sufficient quality, we may combine it with another category or not award it.

Jury decisions are final. We do not enter into correspondence about individual scores or jury deliberations, but we may share general feedback at our discretion.

Jury members keep entry content confidential and use it only for judging.

Licence to use entry content

Entrants keep ownership of their entry content, names, logos and trademarks.

By entering, each entrant grants Flyoneers a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use its company name, logo, website address, category and a short description of the entry to evaluate it and to announce nominees, shortlists, finalists and winners on the website, in press releases and on social media. This licence continues for past announcements after the programme year ends.

Supporting files and detailed application text are confidential. We share them only with jury members and staff who need them, and do not publish them without the entrant's permission.

Award badges and Flyoneers marks

Winners, and finalists where we offer a finalist badge, may use the official Flyoneers badge for the specific category and year they achieved. The badge must:

  • Be used without changes to its design, wording, colours or proportions.
  • Link to the official verification page on flyoneers.com.
  • State the correct category and year, and not suggest a wider or later award.

The badge licence is non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable. We may withdraw it if the award is withdrawn or the badge is misused. All other use of the Flyoneers name, logo and marks requires our written permission.

Intellectual property

The website, its design, text, graphics, logos, badges and software belong to Flyoneers or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and share pages for personal or internal business use. Any other copying, adaptation or commercial use requires our written permission.

Jury member names, photos and profiles are published with their permission and remain theirs.

Third-party websites

The website links to nominee, winner, jury and other third-party sites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, services or privacy practices.

Nature of the awards

Flyoneers awards reflect the jury's assessment of the evidence submitted against the published criteria. They are not a guarantee, certification or endorsement of any company's services, prices or conduct towards travellers. Travellers should make their own checks before booking any service.

Disclaimer

The website is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep information accurate and the website available, but we do not guarantee that it will be error-free, uninterrupted or free of harmful components. Programme information such as dates and categories may change.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Flyoneers is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, business or reputation, or for loss caused by not being shortlisted, not winning, or the withdrawal of an award.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence, which the Turkish Code of Obligations does not allow a business to exclude, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.

Indemnity

Entrants agree to compensate Flyoneers for claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from third-party claims that their entry content, logos or uploaded files infringe someone else's rights or breach data protection laws.

Changes to the programme

We may change the dates, categories, criteria or format of the awards, or postpone or cancel an edition, for good reason such as insufficient entries or events beyond our control. We will publish changes on the website and tell entrants affected.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. Changes do not apply to entries already submitted, unless the change is required by law or we notify the entrant and they do not withdraw.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul (Central) have jurisdiction over any dispute. This does not remove any mandatory consumer protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence.

General

If any part of these Terms is found invalid, the rest stays in force. Not enforcing a right does not waive it. These Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy form the whole agreement on their subject. If these Terms are translated, the English version prevails.
